Trading Platforms and Tools:
- Command Center is an online workstation that lets you enter orders quickly, view market data, perform research, and access your account information, all from a single screen.
- StrategyDesk is a trading and analysis tool designed to help you create, test and execute your trading strategies. StrategyDesk has the tools you need to set up entry and exit rules for your trading strategies. You can then test your strategies against historical market data or begin using them immediately.
- Backtesting enables you to create hypothetical trading strategies, and then test them against actual historical market data. This shows you what your hypothetical profits or losses might have been if you had traded using a particular strategy.
- Alert Manager helps remove the emotional factors from your trading decisions. Advanced program trading tools let you create orders or alerts to be automatically triggered when specified market conditions or events you set are met. These orders can be based on simple events—such as a stock opening above its previous day’s close—or very complex conditions involving technical indicators like moving averages and relative strength.
Option Trading Tools:
- Trade Triggers can generate alerts or enter orders when options you are following reach certain conditions — both outright price and relative value. Trade Triggers activate based on market conditions.
- Analytic chain calculates options Greeks in real time. You can modify and recalculate theoretical values easily, returning to real-time values in one click. The chain also displays historical and implied volatility to help you spot trading opportunities and gauge the market's volatility outlook.
- Spread chain lets you easily follow two-legged options buy writes, straddles, strangles, vertical and horizontal spread markets. It automatically calculates bid and ask information and links to an order ticket.
