General Description: Zecco (ZEro COmmission) has taken a different approach to stock trading commissions, they have eliminated them, well sort of. Your first 10 stock trades each month are free as long as you maintain a $2,500 minimum account balance. They also incorporate social networking features that allow their clients to share ideas and strategies.
Account Minimums: Individual - $2,500, IRAs - $2,500
Stock Commissions: $4.50 flat fee per stock trade, after 10 FREE stock trades per month with $2,500 balance.
Option Commissions: $4.50 plus $0.50 per contract. There is a ticket charge for each leg in a spread trade.
Options in IRAs: Approved clients are allowed to trade options including call buying, put buying, and covered calls.
Trading Platform:
A Web-based platform that features online stock and options trading tools, including real-time quotes, charts, research news, stock screeners, option chains, volatility chains, and an option probability calculator.
Option Trading Tools:
- Real time options chains and multi-legged orders made simple on the same order ticket.
